Advanced Rework Technology Ltd is a fully independent IPC electronics training provider, which has been presenting training courses since 1988. Our customer base includes many of the large, and smaller electronic companies around the country.

Training is carried out using the latest equipment for hand soldering and rework of printed circuit boards. As independent consultants, A.R.T. can offer unbiased advice regarding specialised rework equipment.

A.R.T. provide in-house training which can be customised to meet the needs of your company.

A.R.T. are one of just a few fully accredited IPC certification centres around the world that can offer certified IPC training at all levels of instruction, CIT, CSE and CIS.

John Vickers has been running training courses at Advanced Rework Technology Ltd for over 5 years.

John Vickers has been running training courses at Advanced Rework Technology Ltd for over 5 years during which time has been greatly involved with IPC standard and training committees.

John is a Master IPC Trainer for IPC 6012, 610, 620, 7711/21 and J-STD 001

Debbie McDade

Debbie McDade has been in the electronics industry for some 20 years with the last 15 years at Advanced Rework Technology Ltd.

Debbie McDade has been in the electronics industry for some 20 years with the last 15 years at Advanced Rework Technology Ltd.

She is a Master IPC Trainer who also sits on a large number of IPC committees, and has been presented with numerous awards from the IPC in recognition of her contribution to IPC standards and training courses.

Debbie is the chair person for the IPC-A-620 Training Committee and IPC European Training Committee.

With her Master IPC Trainer status for IPC-A 600, 610, 620, 7711/21 and J-STD 001 she is an expert in the field of fabrication, assembly, process and acceptance of board and cable assemblies.

Ben James

Ben James had started his career within the electronics industry in 2012 during his time in production, Ben has worked around cable harnessing and wire assemblies within the military, medical, aerospace, space applications and exploration sectors.

Ben James had started his career within the electronics industry in 2012 during his time in production he has worked around cable harnessing and wire assemblies within the military, medical, aerospace, space applications and exploration sectors, spending approximately 3 years working in production, 2 years in logistics and a Trainer since 2017.

In his time training to the IPC-A 620 within his company, Ben has also been training to and writing bespoke company specific courses and documentation.

Since joining Advanced Rework Technology Ltd Ben has gained his Master IPC Trainer certification in IPC-A-620, IPC-A-610 and IPC 7711/7721 and Certified IPC Trainer certification in IPC-J-STD-001.
We are pleased that since his time with ART Ltd, Ben has been nominated and short listed for industry focused awards.

Mark Harvey

Mark has over 25 years in electronics, including 15 as a Certified IPC Trainer, and joined Advanced Rework Technology Ltd nine years ago.

25+ years with a top OEM/CEM company, including 15+ years as a Certified IPC Trainer, teaching J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620
In addition, Mark is a certified auditor and has worked as a seismic survey engineer for two years in the oil exploration sector.

Working for a leading production company has given Mark a wealth of experience in the following areas:
Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Automotive & Commercial Markets

These positions included senior process engineer on SMT, PTH, wire harness, and final assembly manufacturing, as well as test/diagnostics engineer.

With his extensive industry knowledge and teaching experience from his previous employer, Mark joined Advanced Rework Technologies nine years ago.

Mark is CIT/MIT for J-STD-001, IPC 600, 610, 620, and 7711/7721.

Faith Summers

Faith joined the electronics industry in 2015, bringing 25+ years of admin and office management experience from roles in airport security and the NHS. She now supports ART with her strong knowledge of office systems and software.

Faith Summers started her Career in the Electronics Industry in 2015 after more than 25 years experience in Administration and Office Management in other sectors such as Airport Security and the NHS. Faith has extensive knowledge of office practices and software packages to accompany her role with ART.
