Printed Circuit Board (PCB)

PCB stands for printed circuit board. It is a flat board used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive tracks, pads, and other features etched from copper sheets.

PCBs are found in almost all electronic devices, from consumer products to aerospace systems. They can be single-sided, double-sided, or multi-layered, depending on the complexity of the circuit.

Components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits are mounted onto the PCB using either through-hole or surface mount techniques. PCBs play a critical role in ensuring reliable performance and compact design in modern electronics.
