J-STD-001 Space Addendum Training
16/05/2012Since the availability of the J-STD-001 Space Electronics Hardware Addendum many companies have attended the one day optional module 6 to the IPC’s J-STD-001 Instructor Training.
This training has benefited companies who have contracts to build and supply Electronic assemblies that must survive the vibration and thermal cyclic environments experience while travelling and operation in space.
Successful National Electronics Week 18-19 April
This year’s National Electronics week was very successful for Advanced Rework Technology who as well as exhibiting at the recent show ART were managing the two seminar areas.
Susan Morris from ART said that she was very pleased with amount of attendance at the seminars throughout the two days and wishes to thank all the speakers for their help and support at the show.
State of the A.R.T. Seminars
26/03/2012Adavanced Rework Technology Ltd will once again be hosting the seminars for National Electronics Week.
The seminar subjects are general in nature to appeal to the industry as a whole. These seminars will be made up from many key individuals from the electronics industry.
Just a few of the topics to be covered will be.
- A pragmatic approach to software quality.
- Ultrasonically enabled low temperature electroless copper plating.
- Introduction to patents and other intellectual property.

Expanding to meet customer demand
30/11/2011Due to the increasing demand for IPC training, ART have employed a new Master IPC Trainer John Vickers. Susan Morris, Training Director of ART said in the short time John has been with us “He’s fitted in very well and is a great asset to the company”.
Going Into Orbit
Advanced Rework Technology Ltd is one of only two IPC Certification Centres in Europe able to offer the new Certified Training for the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Space Applications Addendum which has been approved by NASA. Master IPC Trainer Debbie Wade of ART gained her certification at STI Electronics in Alabama, where the training was overseen by personnel from NASA.
This will be practical course for all types of Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. It will benefit companies who are building Cable Assemblies that need to survive environments experienced while travelling and operating in space.
Three in a row
25/11/2011Advanced Rework Technology have again won awards from the IPC, these were awarded to Barry Morris, Debbie Wade and Susan Morris for their outstanding contributions to the development of revision E of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
Debbie Wade was on hand to receive the awards on behalf of Barry and Susan Morris at the recent IPC meeting held at Apex in Las Vegas.
